A man sitting at a desk sewing fabric together using a Singer sewing machine. Original caption says, "SEAM-MASTER, TOO, is Sergeant Healy, who made much of the equipment and clothing used on ice cap mission, works on parkas in his cabin at Greenland army base. Above hang a kayak he had just completed, and rolls of canvas for the heavy, Northern clothing he made to design of Greenland natives. Experience in the ways of the North, Healy was considered a specialist and called on for few of regular army enlisted man's chores. With books, mid-meal snacks, radio and pin-up girls he transformed this outpost cabin into home. At other end hang dog harnesses and sledges."
